2012 Litter Announcement

This spring will be my first litter in 3 1/2 years (hopefully). Eva, Notz Breath Of Snow And Ashes 14 pts akc, is on her way to meet her beau Magnum, Ch. Blacksheep Smoking Gun, in Maine today. Puppies should be due around my birthday, April 24. Puppies should be blue merle or black and white with brindle points, tan pointed tris possible if Eva carries it (Mag does). I still have a coupe of pet slots open on my waiting list.

Eva is hip and elbow normal, PRA clear, DM carrier, Fluff carrier, DNA-CP.

Goodbye 2011!

So 2011 definitely had its ups and downs, but overall I would have to say it was a good year. Ianto got his URO1, a URO2 leg, and an RA leg. Aria got an RE leg. Shade picked up a few more AKC points in limited showing and a Group 1 and 2 in UKC in just 2 shows. Eva picked up her second major and is now at 14 points. Luna took the ring by storm and just needs a major to finish at 14 months. And two little Shade woodchucks came to live here. The pics below were taken at twelve weeks of age.

Oh and yeah, I graduated from Becker College with High Honors in Veterinary Technology and passed my VTNE boards. So now I am known as Sarah Davis MT CVT.

Hearts Unleashed / Service Dog 101

This is the brainchild of myself and Jan Silva which we created after realizing there was a lack of resources for people needing a service dog that program dogs couldn't provide. Eva is almost there!

Eva - Notz Breath Of Snow And Ashes - went Winner's Bitch for two points on Friday, Reserve to the major on Saturday and Winner's Bitch on Sunday for her second major, a three pointer. She just lacks two singles to finish at fourteen months of age. She is off to Springfield again the week after next, and hopefully will finish there.

Future plans include rally titles and a litter late Spring 2012 by the boy pictured below: Blacksheep Smoking Gun aka Magnum, 10 points both majors. Magnum is by CH Pecan Valley Draco and out of CH Pecan Valley A Blue Clue. Eva is by CH Remembrance Old Black Magic out of CH Notzmo Puttin On The Ritz. Plans will be finalized once they both pass all there health tests. This litter will be a linebreeding on CH Phi-Vestavia Inkling and Pecan Valley Double Exposure. Pics below are from this past weekend.

3/12 UKC Rally

So Ianto and I met Linda and Rocco at the UKC Rally trials in Franklin last Saturday. Unfortunately Ianto and I had disconnect in the first trial and didn't qualify. I figured out my mistake during lunch and we had a great run in trial 2 with a 91 for our second leg in Level 1.

Linda blew past a sign in the first trial and so didn't Q. Rocco decided to let it slide and in the second trial they got a 93 and first place!

We will be back in Franklin this Sunday for AKC Rally. Rocco will hopefully finish his Excellent title and Ianto and Aria will have their first forays into Advanced and Excellent respectively.
